On the cusp of Inauguration Day and the Martin Luther King holiday, our nation is gearing up for the “change America!” promised by Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) recently.  Under the Biden/Harris Administration, minorities will achieve command and control to a greater degree than even under Barack Obama.

Euro-Americans weren’t supposed to be dethroned for another 20 years or so, when we are expected to be a minority.  Donald Trump could have easily swept the 2020 election with our current Euro-American majority.  Instead, he lost thousands of Republican and independent voters who had developed an apoplectic hatred for him.  How many of these voters actually wanted to change America in the process, we shall never know.

The January 6th rampage into the Capitol by Trump anarchists has turbocharged this change America movement.  Its first order of business is to de-Trumpify the United States – end the former president’s political career via an impeachment, then weed out his enablers, allies, and supporters and curtail their access to media.  Such an inquisition would also blacklist these “cult members” from obtaining government and academic jobs, and demand they publicly recant for their wayward lives.

Step Two is to reverse Trump’s policies and executive orders, but quietly retain those that made sense.  The unbalanced media will sort out what Americans will be allowed to know of this.

Step Three will be a cultural revolution to end “institutional racism” and re-educate American students, based on the Robin DiAngelo bestseller White Fragility.  Journalist Chris Rufo has been documenting this revolution.  Expect the resumption of Critical Race Theory classes within government agencies, lately banned by Trump.  Rufo recently found a teacher in California instructing 3rd graders on how to “deconstruct” their racial and gender identities for critical examination.  Parents complained and the instruction stopped.  But, is this a harbinger of the future?

Columbus Day looms large in this cultural revolution.  We know the big prize for revisionists is to convert Columbus Day into Indigenous Peoples Day.  Timing is important.  They need to convince Congress very soon, before the 2022 calendars are printed.  Vice President-elect Kamala Harris is already on record supporting the switch.  “Sign me up,” is how she responded to the question in 2020 while campaigning in Portsmouth, NH.  President Biden would not stand in the way of such a symbolic gesture, and Speaker Nancy Pelosi couldn’t care less about the Genovese Navigator, even when rioters last summer dumped his statue into Baltimore harbor, her hometown.

Speaking of holidays, “Democrats believe Juneteenth (June 19th) represents the end of slavery, the freedom for millions of enslaved Black Americans, and should be recognized as a federal holiday.”  [The Democratic platform, p.40]   And to further Black power:  “Democrats unequivocally support statehood for Washington, D.C.” [p.59]

The Golden Fleece of African American aspirations is reparations for slavery.  There is already a Resolution in the House of Representatives, HR-40, waiting for this moment.  It calls for a commission to study reparations and how they would be awarded.  Although the Democratic Party platform doesn’t address reparations, Joe Biden is on record last year at a NAACP town hall: “…he supports the concept, but said he wants to allow studies [HR-40] on the issue to play out before he goes all-in on direct payments to African Americans. [says Biden:] ‘The answer is it depends on what it was and will it include Native Americans as well,’” [Washington Times 6/10/20]Who knew that Biden’s generosity includes Native Americans – with or without casinos?

A new book, From Here to Equality, lays out the formulae for reparations.  Once funded, eligibility is as follows: you must be at least 1/16th sub-Saharan African, can trace one ancestor to slavery since 1776, and have claimed to be Black/Negro/Afro/AA for at least twelve years.  How much will you get?  The authors used numerous methods to arrive at a value, including how much “40 acres and a mule” would be worth today.  Best guess is $267,000 per individual (est. 40 million eligible) from a pot of $10.7 Trillion.  That’s not the end.  There is to be an “intensive” public education program that lasts three generations (90 years!) and continues “in perpetuity” to a lesser degree.  The authors adopted this from the Holocaust remembrance model.

How’s all this for change?  It’s only the beginning. -JLM
